Not to long after the trailhead at hopkins road there will be a pond/marsh on your left. The trail continues on a doubletrack gravel road.

At about the 2 mile mark there will be a bridge on you rirght which carries the Penndel/Pomery Connector to the PennDel Trail. The trail continues for about a mile more until it crosses the White Clay Creek on a bridge just before it comes to Creek Road. The trail runs with Creek Road for about a half mile until the trail comes to a paved path the goes past some apartment buildings in Newark.

After the aparment buildings the trail passes a power station and cross Cleveland Ave and Church St. The trail goes under an active railroad and goes past the Newark Shopping Center. The trail ends as a paved path to the right of Bike Line now Trek Bicycle.
