Description

This is an out-of-the-way Forest Road (more of a doubletrack at times) in the Chattahoochee Oconee National Forest. You'll probably have the place to yourself, except perhaps for the bears. It's rare that you see a bear riding a north Georgia trail, but I saw two bears on this trail on one occasion.

This road does connect to the Sumac Creek Trail (#217), from which you might be bailing if you've found it overgrown as is often the case. Together with Mill Creek Road (FS Road #630) and West Cowpen Road (FS Road #17), this makes a loop of about 15 miles.
