This trail was a railroad, which has been converted gravel path.

The path starts from the city Centre at Trøgstadveien from the apartment buildings, and in a few meters passes a parking lot. A short while later it gets closer to the fire station. There is a wooden bridge with fence, and after the fire station it turns gently to the left with a long straight. A short while later, you'll see a more open are to the left (you should see a grill hut). After this the path turns slightly to the right with long starlight sections with a few short turns. When you see a small corn field you are getting close to a bridge, which you can exit the trail on the left if you want or on other side of the bridge. Watch out for steep slopes to the left after the bridge, there will be long sections of them, the first starts right after the bridge, after few turn you'll come closer to the parking at Onstad. After this the path continues with a straight section, with signs guiding you to Skansehytta and Holterengastien. After this there is a short section where you'll see parking and to the left the trail continues with few straights and few turns.

After you see a long and narrow field the path will turn to the right and cross a high bridge, with some straights and long wide turns with a straight section towards Solbergfossveien. It crosses it and goes downhill towards few houses and the river, to the left up to the road again, and to the left along Solbergfossveien, eventually crossing and into the forest with a long easy climb up to Solbergfoss.
