This section of Sugar Creek Greenway will connect to the main section of the greenway at 10th St. over a very scenic suspension bridge that will span Independence Blvd. and I-277 sometime around 2021.

Description

This trail is a 2017 addition to the Sugar Creek Greenway, which is part of the Cross Charlotte Trail (XCLT). The trail starts off of 10th St. near I-277 and ends in Cordelia Park at the intersection with North Davidson and 24th St. Once completed, the Cross Charlotte Trail will connect from the South Carolina border all the way to UNCC for a total of around 30 miles.
