Need to Know

The trails are not well marked and are not well represented by the trail map, so when in doubt, bail out onto the road and follow the ski lifts to the base of the mountain. Most of the doubletrack trails on the mountain will lead you back toward the base of the mountain.

Description

This trail can be accessed off of Collar Bone. Simply begin going down Collar Bone until you see a green sign that states "Fungus Trail" on the left side of the road. Do not let the fact that this trail is labelled "green" fool you. It is very steep, narrow, and technical, consisting of multiple rooted sections. This is a solid intermediate trail with several challenging sections that push it into black diamond territory.
