Description

Park near the sign for the Boy Scout camp. The trailhead is the bridge that crosses the north end of the reservoir.

After the bridge turn right and follow the trail heading south. The trail is a little overgrown in spots with oak brush and the trail is fairly skinny singletrack. The trail slopes in sections to a potential cliffy fall; mind the trail closely.

You'll face a very gentle altitude gain over the first mile which provides some really amazing views of the reservoir. There are few technical areas but there are a few spots that are slightly washed out potentially leading to a nasty fall down to the water.

The end of the trail leads you up a steep, sudden incline with some loose rock. Reaching the top awards you with an amazing view of the water and rolling hills around you.

This is a very narrow trail. I walked across lose rocks near the edge, but it is safe if you stay cautious .
