The Graveyard section can be combined with a fire trail for the family loop.
A cross country loop on 95% singletrack through mostly natural terrain. The area is maintained by the CCMTB Club. The trailhead allows access to this XC Loop as well as the Downhill Trail and All-Mountain/Gravity/Enduro sections.
Need to Know
Be aware. All-Mountain/Gravity/Enduro runs cross this XC Loop at a couple of points. Observe signposts and travel in the correct trail direction. Snakes are around, especially throughout summer months. The fire trail network also provides access to 4WD and motorbike trails, though these branch off in the opposite direction to the MTB network. There are no amenities on site.
This is a signposted, one-directional route which can be linked in with All-Mountain/Gravity/Enduro sections. The ride is a combination of built and natural features, maintained by CCMTB Club.
Although this is a managed trail, it is done in a way that incorporates natural rutting, rock gardens and log/boulder features, creating a reasonably technical 10km(ish) loop. The ride generally drains well, with a few damp sections in the gullies and the terrain can be a little different after each larger storm due to erosion.
The route is suited to all experience levels, with B-Lines around all major features.
