This trail provides a good opportunity to practice skills, with a variety of technical features in a short distance. The proximity to the lake and camping provides other activities for families.
If you are a day visitor, park at the farthest parking area from the entrance. Ride counterclockwise to have a nice warm-up on crushed gravel followed by a longer section of roots with a few rock crossings. The start marked on the map is for access from the Summit Lake Campground.
