This trail runs roughly parallel to Hitt Road, but is a much more challenging singletrack both uphill and downhill. Accessed on either Hitt Road on the lower end from Ashland or from the high end from Upper Hitt Road (aka FR 2060-300), Fell on Knee can also be accessed now from the new uphill-direction-only Wonder Trail.

Fell on Knee is at times steep, narrow, and features some off-camber roots and rocks to make riding a bit of a nuisance (or, depending on your perspective, a welcome reprieve from overly-groomed trails). The lower third of the trail is on an old skid road, but the middle and upper thirds of the trail negotiate some steeper pitches and cross very steep side slopes.

The intersection of Wonder Trail offers great views south, with Mt Ashland, ponderosa pines, and the Ashland Watershed. Locations on the lower third offer views of Mt McLoughlin, the Rogue Valley, and Grizzly Peak. The upper third of the trail runs by some larger ponderosas and is in an area frequented by bears.
