Need to Know

Access via the Cape Fear River Trail. The trailhead is just north of Clark Park or a few miles south of the Jordan Soccer Complex.

Description

This loop is a great way to introduce your family to singletrack. The trail is well maintained and located right off of the Cape Fear River Trail. It is relatively flat with a few log obstacles and small ditches to provide a little challenge, most of which can easily be bypassed by inexperienced riders.

The trail is rather low traffic and has great visibility, so experienced riders can take the trail at a quick pace for more of a challenge.

Despite the sandy composition of the soil in the area, the trail is mostly well packed, with only a few spots where you can get bogged down or slipped up by sand. The trail is currently a bit over a mile, but there are plans to expand.
