“A short out-and-back spur that offers access to scenic views atop Joanna Mountain.”

DuPont State Recreational Forest is a very popular multi-use, bi-directional trail system, so be on the lookout for hikers, horses, and other cyclists. It is normally open in any weather although it can close in extended periods of freeze/thaw during the winter.
Joanna Mountain Trail starts off of Joanna Road
near the intersection with Oak Tree
. It is relatively flat except for the very end that climbs steeply to the apex of Joanna Mountain. The top of Joanna Mountain offers breathtaking views of Summit Lake and Lake Dense.
