Overview

Dogs: Leashed

Need to Know

Various low trees.

Description

Beginning as a simple alternative off the Talcott Mountain Bypass Trail the Juniper trails heads right, towards the fence and the land to the left seems to fall away as one continually climbs. The trail becomes more difficult as root and rocks become present. A small rock garden leads to a high, cliff-side traverse with various steep rock drops on the trail. Another small garden leads to an esay descent as the trail widens to meet the Montevideo Trail East. Simple doubletrack continues until the trail narrows by a left turn leading back to the Talcott Mountain Bypass Trail.
