This trail is an extension of the Wind River Trail in Rocky Mountain National Park. No bikes are allowed on the trails inside the park. This portion of the trail lies on YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park Center property.

Description

This creekside trail flows fast and fun in the downhill, and provides a nice huff-n-puff in the uphill direction. There are some stretches of sweet singletrack here, interspersed with some short sections of doubletrack.

The southern end of the trail can be difficult to follow, as the singletrack is very narrow and overgrown. The trail crosses through a large campfire ring amphitheater area. Follow the doubletrack through this area and you can pick up the singletrack on the other end. The map and MTB Project mobile app are helpful here. There are a handful of obstacles along the way so stay on your toes and enjoy the ride!
