Description

The climb starts out reasonably, then becomes tough, and then becomes a push for all mortal riders. But, the payoff is a unique and outstanding rip of a backcountry descent. You may curse the fact that this route is even on a map on your way up, but your discontent will melt away when erased by an ear-to-ear smile, if you've got the chops to really enjoy this.

The descent can pair nicely with the monster downhill run that forms the second half of the Lower Hoop Hole Trail (5001). Combined, the two will challenge and thrill even the very best of the best descenders.
