This is the most popular horse trail in the park, and is also open to bikes and hikers. It is flatter and less technical than Blue Trail 1 (310A) and Purple Trail 2 (310B). Many parts of this trail are wide doubletrack. However, this trail can become muddy after rains. In particular, horse riders attempting to avoid flooded regions have caused parts of the trail to become very wide. This trail is best ridden when the recent weather has been dry, allowing the trail to firm up. There were a lot of horses on this trail when I was there, and no horses on the other trails.
