Description

Lion trail is one of the best descents in Red Rocks, especially for intermediate riders. The trail features good sightlines to carry speed, a few tabletops, and rock lips. Most of the features are smaller and relatively forgiving.

From the top, make right turns to stay on the trail all the way down.

While the trail is multi-use and multi-directional, it is best ridden downhill. Chamberlain trail to the east on the other side of the ridge is a better climbing trail.
