Family Friendly Take a plunge into beautiful Tomahawk lake after your ride!

This trail is only open to mountain bikers during warmer months. Once groomed, it operates as a cross-country ski venue.

Overview

A short, wide trail with good sight-lines and plenty of options to lengthen or shorten the ride. Take a plunge into beautiful Tomahawk Lake after your ride!

Description

Following the outermost, cross-country ski trail route from the Tomahawk Lake Park boat landing (shelter and trailhead).

This route can be ridden as mapped or modified in dozens of ways with excursions onto the shorter, Blue Loop trails.

Both loops are clearly marked throughout the trail system. The trail crosses Moore and Little Island Roads a couple of times for easy bailouts back to the trailhead.
