During the rainy season, please allow significant time for the trail tread to dry out. Please visit the local IMBA chapter's website atwrcmba.com
for updated trail conditions.
Once completed, Captain Blacklock will meet up with Bootlegger
so one can avoid the Gorst Connector in the future. For now, the partially completed trail starts off heading north from Dirty Dishes
as it travels through wet, coastal forests, crossing a bridge and eventually meeting up with clay soil and taller trees as it flows through the Doug Fir forest. This two-way trail is fairly flat with not many hazards besides the bridge crossing, which can be slippery when wet.
