Description

BTR starts off Buffalo Pass Road 60, directly across from the connection to Flash of Gold. It's a moderately difficult descending trail with rock drops, berms, jumps, a log ride, and numerous technical rocky sections. Most of the drops, and jumps have established ride-arounds so riders can skip features. BTR was an old "social" trail that was adapted and rebuilt into the USFS system using 2A tax funding from the City of Steamboat Springs.

Fall riding is the best in Steamboat Springs and so is the backcountry. Dropping from the Continental Divide Trail.

Though not as much intrigue or flow as it's counterpart, Grouse Ridge, BTR still has some fun features and a good amount of chunk to keep things really fun. Fantastic construction on this trail system!
