“Enjoy a non-technical jeep trail with challenging ups and fun downs connecting Stove Prairie Road to Pingree Park Road.”
— Dennis Diaz
You can park near Stove Prairie School at the stop sign (the intersection of Stove Prairie Road & Rist Canyon Road), or drive ~three miles west from Stove Prairie Road along Old Flowers Road to the National Forest boundary and park. The ride has some challenging uphill grades and fun downhills. The scenery is beautiful through the regrowth of the 2012 High Park Fire. Ample campsites are situated along the way, making this a good option for bikepackers looking to do an overnight.
