Family Friendly Primary lines are relatively 'tame'...some climbing, but nothing too steep. Fairly wide and rolling.

No eBikes.

Description

This is fun, rolling singletrack with a number of optional alt-line trail features. Some of the optional features do require commitment and can't easily be rolled down. Options abound riding this trail in either direction. The main line on this trail is tame enough that it could be suitable for small children.

The eastern end (first 100' or so) looks more like old-school, hand-built singletrack but eventually gives way to newer machine-built tread.

There is no good trailhead/parking lot at either end of this trail. It is best accessed via the Chester Bowl Rim Trail, after parking at/near Chester Park. On the east end, ride west across Kenwood Avenue, up Partridge Street (amongst apartment buildings) and look for the pavers leading into the woods on your right.
