Description

This trail system typically hosts a 50-mile endurance XC race here each year. This year for a flavor of something different, Starkville Cycling Club is proud to host a multi-experience level event that will appeal to all ages and all fitness levels.

While shorter in distance compared to the more advanced courses (Cat 2 Loop and Cat 1 Loop), there is no shortage of challenges associated with elevation and mild technical nature of this course. The open road start will prevent unnecessary bunching often associated with mass starts and allow riders to get comfortable before reaching the singletrack.

Each short, technical section is spaced out with fast, fun sections for a good work/reward balance. This course is guaranteed to give you a little taste of everything and be just long enough to feel a great sense of accomplishment when finished.
