A smokin' fast downhill with a return climb that's worth the effort.

Matt Block

Overview

This trail closes for the winter and spring thaw.
Family Friendly: Trail is easily ridden by young kids; smooth surface and the return climb is manageable.
Dogs: No Dogs

Description

This is the outer loop at Sylvan Hill Bike Park. Ridden counter clockwise, you'll have a blast ripping down this relatively tame, smooth surface but fast downhill with lots of rock features on the side of the trail to choose from if you like. Easy enough for young kids to roll but plenty of places to boost if you get your speed up.

As you near the bottom, you'll drop into a pretty hemlock stand while riding a ridge overlooking Jim Moore Creek, eventually popping out on a service road and the switchback return climb.
