Open year-round. There is a fat bike race here in the winter.
Overview
A short but fun loop on mostly singletrack with some bridges and a short section connecting via a tar path.
Description
This ride is a combination of
NE Trail,
West Loop, and
NW Trail. This can be ridden in either direction. When ridden clockwise, turn left from the tar path onto the
NE Trail and head down the grass path turning left into the woods. After the woods, there is more grass path before crossing another grass path and heading down into the singletrack. It will twist and turn along the edge of the hill with some slight climbs.
Stay left when you get to the sharp right-turn down to the bridge. Ride along the off camber trail, watching out for the roots. Wind along until you cross one more grass path and head into the last section the the
NE Trail. There's a small bridge and some winding singletrack until you get to the tar path.
Cross the tar path onto the
West Loop. Roll down the hill to the left and keep up some speed for the rock and logs path. Follow the hill up and around, keeping an eye out for sticker bushes until you wind down to the bridge. The bridge can be overgrown with vegetation from the swamp.
Travel over the bridge and climb the small hill to get to the last section of the
West Loop. You can carry some speed though the section until you hit the tar path. Turn left heading north until you see the
NW Trail on your left. This trail is as much grass as it is path. Following that around will bring you back to the tar path where you started.
