2017 Throwdown N Tanktown Race Course

Overview

The 2017 Throwdown N Tanktown Race Course covers a majority of the trails at Montvale Park Trail System. Easy Street is a fun easy trail to roll down. The UP trail before Coyote Ridge is a challenging punchy climb. Coyote Ridge offers the best descent of the course. Yellow Drum is a fun mellow cross-country style mellow beginner descent back into the park.
Family Friendly: These are beginner friendly trails and the course length is right around 6.5 miles.

Creek Crossing within the first mile and last mile.

Description

From the parking lot, follow the course to track, left "to trails." Go across the creek and take a left on Creek Side and then climb Beales Treasure. Next, head left at "3 Way" to climb Easy Street. Cross over the parking lot and continue on Easy Street.

When you intersect Ridgeline, head left to ride it to the bottom. Take the UP climb back up to Coyote Ridge. Climb and descend Coyote Ridge, then take a right on Cliff Hanger and then left on Soggy Bottom, ride entire Soggy Bottom to Cliff Hanger, continue on Cliff Hanger until you can hang a left on Yellow drum, follow Yellow Drum back to the creek crossing, take a left onto track and follow tape back to parking lot.
