A fun beginner loop close to town that takes less than a half hour car to car.

Start at the Chip Ross parking area and head to the left on the Main Loop. Chip Ross joins the McDonald-Dunn Forest and this ride heads onto Lower Dan's Trail for a short climb followed by a fun, short section of descending singletrack.

After just under a mile, the trail meets with Road 612, turn left (south) up the fire road. The fire road then meets back up with the WTC1 connector and the Main Loop at Chip Ross, which brings you back to the parking lot.

The most challenging part of this loop is the drainage cut into the Main Loop trail right near the car.
