Access to the Río Grande del Norte National Monument is $3/day per vehicle, but if you park at Sheep Crossing or Chiflo it is before the pay area. Closed when muddy.

Description

This short doubletrack will take you up to the Las Vistas de Questa Trail by climbing up a relatively small hill from TP 250. Once you start to descend, bear left and follow the jeep trail to a short steep rocky climb to the singletrack. You'll enter the trail between the first big downhill and the scree.

If you go right, it is a steep climb to the west trailhead. If you go to the left, the trail will make a hard left and climb the to cross the scree.
