Description

A steep doubletrack through open and exposed forest that's a reasonable way to connect from the Gold Lake area to Lefthand Canyon near Rowena. The Boulder Ranger district lists FS509.1 as closed to motor vehicles following the September 2013 floods. There are definitely good options for bikepacking camp sites in the area.
