Description

Literally a game (trail) changer! This is a fairly new (July 2017) singletrack connecting the midpoint of the Game Trail on the Ski Resort across the Breckenridge Nordic Center, to the Peaks Trail about a mile and a quarter from the Breckenridge trailhead.

From the midpoint of Game Trail, just below an access road, and near the Zendo Chairlift, look for a well-marked turn to the north. Descend across the open ski trail to the north and enter the trees at the ski area boundary. Descend 1/2 mile to, and across the upper Nordic center road, then intersect the lower Nordic center road in another 1/4 mile. Both road crossings are marked.

Go left (north) on the access road to the Hallelujah Hut, and take the marked singletrack on the right just before the hut. Descend another 1/3 mile to the Peaks Trail.

The trail has a few fun, optional rock and log features, but in general is pretty tame.

If climbed, Zendo Trail can put the icing on a Peaks Trail out-and-back; however, this is a resort-built trail to augment their on-mountain trail system so be wary and courteous of downhill riders as they may be paying customers.

Happy Trails!
