Overview

This loop is made up of awesome trails that feature a little bit of everything terrain-wise. There are a few viewpoints along the way, but nothing to write home about. Easy parking accessibility and camping nearby. It's a credit card ride: you go in debt heading to the bottom, then climb back out.

Description

You can do this lollipop route in either direction. Most people go counter-clockwise (as mapped) which gives you a super technical descent to start heading down Cedar Creek Trail #457, followed by a long, grueling climb back up Fifteen Mile Trail #456. The descent can be less technical going down #456 in the clockwise direction, and is mostly forested.

The out-and-back at the bottom is a nice add-on trail, and completes your transition to drier east-side vegetation.

Can park at Bottle Prairie Trail #455 and ride Eight Mile Loop Trail #496 too.

Ridden counterclockwise. Downhill gets crumbly and sketchy. Uphill has some unavoidable brush, broken twigs and branches. Hard climb. Butterflies! 11mi — 2h 00m

A great ride with a long climb, great views and a fun descent. It can be reached from the Underhill Campground, but that adds several miles. 11mi — 3h 00m
