Description

The Sand Spring Trail is a relatively flat loop. It can be done in either direction. The route travels through a mixture of hemlock forest and open boggy areas with a couple of creek crossings.

The east and south side of the routes have long straight sections, leftovers from old railroad grades.

This trail has good opportunities for wildlife viewing.
