Overview

This is an old school mountain bike trail system built by NIMBA located on the south side of South Bend, Indiana. There are three tight singletrack trails here; beginner, intermediate, and expert. There is parking on the opposite side of the road from where the trail begins or within the Rum Village park.

Description

The total trail distance is around six miles. Be aware of northbound vehicle traffic coming over the hill while you are crossing the road from the parking area to the trail start.

The trail is even fun to ride at night and the local NIMBA chapter grooms it during the winter for fat bike usage. Be aware of the occasional hiker and yield right-of-way as necessary as you navigate the tight and twisty singletrack.

For more trail information see the NIMBA site or the SBVPA site.
