Description

The trail is named for a Buffalo Trail that used to run through the property. In over four miles, riders will loop past the top of the West Side of Mt. Airie and return down to the trailhead on West Country Road 25 South.

The tread is easy, and the grades average below 5%, so beginner riders will have a good time without being overtaxed. Advanced riders will finish the climbing a bit faster and can really open up the speed on the rewarding descent. There's a shortcut around mile one that allows for a smaller 2.5 mile loop. At 1.65 miles in, riders have an opportunity to extend their overall loop mileage by continuing onto the Waterfall Trail to the left.
