Description

This a steep and rowdy descent off the ridge. The trail starts on the open ridge and then descends into alpine fir trees, and then you'll enter into some very nice groves of old growth trees that grow in the river valley.

You'll cross some old logging roads and also the trail uses an old logging road down near the bottom. Be careful of these roads to make sure you don't accidentally turn onto them since it can be confusing.

There are some steep switchbacks up top to navigate so keep this in mind.
