Wicked fast downhill run. You lose a lot of hard-earned vertical very fast on this descent but you won't regret it.

Description

The Ridge of Doom is a fun, steep descent from the Grassy Knoll. You head west-southwest or to your right as you look toward town and the peaks of the West Elks. It starts out with some steep, and a bit rutted, relic doubletrack. As it flattens out, you'll see The Plunge drop off to your left. You'll stay on the ridge and work your way around to the right side of the rocky spine.

You then come back out on the top of the ridge and drop down a very steep, loose, and exciting little pitch. Now the trail goes up for just a minute and then you can fly down through a fast, flowy section until the trail ends at CC’s Corner. You lose a lot of hard-earned vertical very fast on this descent but you'll not regret it!
