This section of the QCT requires a Queen Charlotte Track Land Cooperative Pass for each adult. The pass can be purchased at local i-SITEs or online.

Description

Make no mistake, this one is a challenge and you'll be pushing your bike. This trail goes up and up and you'll want to make frequent stops to take in the view so keeping a good pace is unlikely.

The descent towards Mistletoe is a challenge in its own right with tight switchbacks and a rough track requiring good bike handling skills and all your attention. Make sure to follow the track down to the road and ignore the early turn off on the left. Once you get down to the road, turn left towards Mistletoe Bay.

The Queen Charlotte Track: Mistletoe Bay to Anakiwa will shortly begin on the right. Take this turn or roll down further and take a left turn to the Jetty and Campground at Mistletoe Bay.

The Queen Charlotte Track is a multi-use trail that travels over DOC and private land. The trail is typically completed over multiple days. To learn about access, accommodations, and useful information check out this brochure, here.
