Description

Karate Monkey has a similar feel to Ninja Cougar, but there are more straightaways and fewer tight turns on the hard-packed singletrack. This is a trail that gets harder the further in you get and there's also a feeling of exposure at times as it travels near the edge and along a narrow bridge.

Near the bottom, Karate Monkey a makes a sharp turn down a rocky chute that just brushes against a bridge on Upper A-Line. The chute is the hardest part of the trail, and while it can be slippery when wet, it rolls well if you get a good entrance into it. The rest of the trail throws in a little more tech and hard-pack as it parallels the stream.

Located in the Fitzsimmons Zone, Karate Monkey starts below Ninja Cougar and ends at the trail hub near Samurai Pizza Cat, World Cup Singletrack, and Lower A-Line.
