Description

There's a small parking area and trailhead just off US21 at the start of Henley Hollow Trail. From there, it's a difficult but manageable, narrow singletrack climb up to Virginia Highlands Horse Trail (VHHT) #337: Divide Trail to US21. A number of root jumps and sharp turns will also seek to impede your progress.

If you're using this as a base for the Horse Heaven loop, your reward for this climb is the opportunity to ride it downhill at the end.

11/17/17 This trail was hard. Trail surface is largely rocks, baseball to bowling ball sized and completely covered in hardwood leaves this time of year, so you never knew what direction the front tire would go, or if the rear would get traction. Then add that it is relentlessly uphill with little to no respite and you have a challenge. Nov 21, 2017
