Description

To get to Yellow Ridge Descent from Milesburn Rd, climb up Greenwood Road Trail and through the power lines. Eventually, you'll come to a four-way intersection. Veer left on Yellow Ridge Trail. The climb to the top of the ridge contains some steep, loose-rock climbs. Either hike your bike or push through!

Once at the top, a fast downhill awaits. With small rock gardens, you can just fly right over them. Also, the rocks are smaller so you can just hammer through them. With natural doubles and berms, this trail is a fast blast. Especially since most descents in Michaux are technical, this can be a breath of fresh air and an opportunity to open it up.

The end of this trail dumps you out on Quarry Gap Road. To get back to the four-way intersection, turn right on Quarry Gap Rd. and then another right up Locust Gap Trail.

One of the several straightaways gives you a chance to let off the brakes and fly on the Yellow Ridge Descent.
