Beyond the water tanks appears to be private property, so take that into account if you wish to go all the way to the end of the ridge.

Description

A pleasant singletrack trail along the ridge that begins at the end of the Ramona Peak Climb. The trail ends at two old water tanks that are pretty cool to look at. A short walk of a few feet takes you to the ridge and a great overlook of the San Vicente Golf Course. Spangler Peak lies just ahead - the end of the ridge.

The ride is level, and the few rocks in the trail that are large enough to notice are easy to avoid. The flowers along this ridge are incredible in the spring and early summer! Few people climb up to this part of the Simon Preserve, giving you a beautiful meadow to enjoy yourself.
