The Demo Trail is accessible in the Mahnomen Unit off of the Cuyuna Lakes State Trail.

The trail starts off two-way off of the paved trail. When it splits, it becomes one-way, stay to the right. It winds around and climbs a short tailings pile. The climb is easy, and the tread is good.

At the top is a fun B line rock garden consisting of a lot of loose rock plates, with a steep drop off to the left to keep things exciting. The descent has some tight, root-laden turns. At the bottom, by the end of the one-way loop is an optional rock drop.
