“Riding over large rock slabs and in between natural berms on the ridge.”
— Jonathan Cox
Check the map at all intersections. Michaux is not well-marked, so double-check before you go down 1000 ft. and have to climb back up; we've all done it. Also, logging is unpredictable. Sometimes, trails can be destroyed in the blink of an eye.
Climbing Dead Woman's Hollow is all worth it on this trail. Railing natural berms and smashing boulders will make it hard to wipe that smile off of your face. In the beginning, you'll ride along the ridge and then eventually turn downhill and pick up speed.
