Muddy: Got my feet wet pedaling on a 29'er. Trail needs vegetation cut back, wooden ramps are ok, but 1/3 trail was flooded History

Description

This trail is mostly singletrack with two optional spur trails (Spur 1, Spur 2). This also has a bridge that goes over a spot that gets super muddy. The trail is well-marked with orange blazes on nearby trees.

Some sections very muddy. Passable, but sticky. There is a faucet at the trailhead but no hose. 2.5mi

I can agree about single track with roots. To me, riding the trail was a mistake. Very rooty, not the kind that are fun to navigate or challenging, just bumpy. When I got to the portion of the trail (about a third of it) that was under water the roots were even more fun because you couldn't see them and tried to shoot your wheels out from under you half the time. If it were dry this might be a good trail for absolute beginners. There's nothing to see at the end or in the middle of the trail. It is a likely place for gators, spiders, and snakes to hang out, and if other traffic were on the trail it would be even worse. Oct 11, 2018
