This is an excellent challenge in one of the most beautiful and isolated regions in Tajikistan. This rough section of doubletrack provides a unique high-mountain perspective and a glimpse into the experience of the friendly locals who tend their flocks and small fields in this harsh enviorment. The views from this end of the Yagnob Valley are both wild and dramatic.

Plan on spending a few days traversing the terrain to work up to a mountain pass before the long and steep descent to the village of Rufigar
