Goat Creek is a short singletrack trail that connects Mountain Goats to the Creekside at Lehigh Portland Trails. This trail features twists and turns through a lush riparian environment along a small stream, winding around huge Cottonwood trees, with some short, punchy climbs and tight turns.
This trail also runs for a bit along two old railbeds, one a section of the old MKT (Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railway) and the other a short spur that once serviced the fuel depot at the old concrete plant. The trail passes beneath the historic Hegwald Bridge.
