A wide route at the bottom of a scenic valley, this leg of your journey makes for an enjoyable ride. Though adjacent peaks soar overhead, the grade of this route remains manageable along the full extent of the road.

Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to take in the scenic views, as well as some of the local culture, present when you pass through small villages. Though this portion is gentle, remember that you'll be at a starting elevation of 5,500 feet, which is a considerable altitude for many.
