Family Friendly Things to keep the kids occupied while parents/caregivers take turns riding the trail include putt-putt, a lake to see ducks, plenty of room to romp, and a concession stand open during certain hours.

Overview

This loop covers the new school flow trails recently built in Mayodan. While this trail network is new and does not have a ton of distance, these trails are fast and fun and stringing together a few laps is pure joy.

Description

Park at the parking lot of Ferris Memorial Park. You can actually rent MTB bikes (not sure of quality) from the park. After you leave the trailhead, you have a few options. Ride the Beginner Loop to warm up and then ride for about 5-7 minutes on the Gravel Road to get to start of the trail and work your way back to the trailhead.

You can also start the trail on the turn just after the Beginner Loop and ride to the end and turn around or ride back on the Gravel Road. These trails are made to run multiple laps and are really a blast!
