Overview

Several trails that link together making for a fun ride with moderate climbs, twisty singletrack, narrow lines along ridges and above ravines, and fast technical descents with a few berms and jumps thrown in.

Description

Start at the parking lot off of HWY 165. Head east on Mustang Alley across Forest Loop Road and continue the climb to the right up to the trail intersection of High Voltage and Sidewinder. Take a left at High Voltage and follow this technical singletrack, going left when you come to the creek bed until you reach Strip Mine Trail.

Head east on Strip Mine Trail, where you'll encounter some challenging climb sequences before turning left onto Chalk Dust. There are some great views as you head west and back around toward the south down through a chalky singletrack and over a narrow bridge. Continue on Chalk Dust and look for the Chalk Dust - Strip Mine Connector on the left.

A short but hard climb will have you back on Strip Mine Trail for a few hundred yards before you take a right on Sidewinder. This is the only part of the ride that will overlap as you climb back up to the intersection of High Voltage and Sidewinder. Continue up Sidewinder paralleling Forest Loop Road up to a small parking lot. Cross Forest Loop Road here and hold on for the flow of Bobsled.

There are some jumps, small gaps, and table tops that are pretty fun and challenging. Take this flowing trail and connect up to Fence Line for a nice and fast ride back to the parking lot.
