Description
I increased the difficulty of this loop a little bit due to the world class, famous, super challenging "Foot Bridge". Start your ride at the dead end of Cassleberry Rd. and enter the trail traveling north, with the pond on your right.
When you enter the woods, you'll find that the trail continues downhill for a full half mile. There it meets a pine forest, and curves back around, away from the pines, and uphill to the southeast. It continues the climb past some old stone piles, and over a hilltop where it continues downhill due east. Soon it dips right into a stand of pines past a sign that reads, "Foot Bridge".
It zigzags through the pines with the cautionary red blazes on the trees. Then you'll pass a small cairn signaling the beginning of the "Foot Bridge". This bridge is actually a narrow strip of boulders poking out of the deep weeds and grass, supposedly with water beneath. It's narrow, it's long, and it's way easier to ride across on a fatbike than a 2-point-whatever inch tire, but it can be done. The cost of failure is probably a crash, and some pain, followed by being wet and laying in the tall weeds...
Oh yeah, then the trail continues winding through the pines, and eventually turns south back to the middle of Cassleberry Rd.
