“A fun loop trail for races with some good elevation change.”
— Edgar Pizano
In high season, there is a parking fee of around two dollars. In low season, parking is free.
Family Friendly: Public recreational area.
This mostly singletrack trail travels clockwise around a smooth and twisting loop near Rancho El Carrizo. It's commonly used as a race course, but there are some other options besides the main loop, too. Enjoy great views as you pedal above the banks of the lake and past boulders scattered around the trail. There's a decent amount of elevation change, but really only one significant climb.
